Eligibility

  • Residents of any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or Canada (follow portal residency rules).
  • High school seniors planning to enroll full-time OR current undergraduate students planning to enroll full-time in the upcoming academic year.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 / 4.0 (verify on application).
  • Documented community service and leadership — emphasis on recent service.
  • Demonstrated financial need (tax documents required).
  • At least one recommendation required (teacher, coach, or community leader); up to three accepted.
  • Chick-fil-A employees and their immediate dependents/spouses are typically excluded — confirm official rules.

How to apply

  1. Create an account and start the application via the Scholarship America portal (link on the Chick‑fil‑A program page).
  2. Complete essays and application fields describing academics, activities, and community service.
